40+ Years of Experience & a Reputation Built on Results
Experience in medicine isn’t just about years in practice — it’s about the breadth of conditions treated, the complexity of cases managed, and the depth of knowledge developed over thousands of patient encounters. At In Motion Foot & Ankle, our podiatric team has seen and successfully treated virtually every foot and ankle condition imaginable, from everyday heel pain and ingrown toenails to complex reconstructive surgical cases. That depth of experience means you benefit from a level of clinical judgment that simply cannot be replicated in a newer or less established practice.
Our track record speaks for itself. Patients return to us year after year, refer their family and friends, and leave reviews that reflect not just satisfaction with their outcomes, but appreciation for the quality of care they received along the way. When you choose In Motion Foot & Ankle, you’re choosing a practice that has stood the test of time in one of the most competitive medical markets in the country.
Board-Certified Podiatric Physician & Surgeon
Our practice is led by Dr. Amr El-Khashab, a board-certified podiatric physician and surgeon who holds certifications from both the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Texas Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. El-Khashab completed a rigorous three-year residency at Interfaith Medical Center in New York City, where he served as Chief Resident, followed by a one-year fellowship. His post-graduate training spans orthopedics, pediatrics, vascular surgery, and plastic surgery — giving him a uniquely well-rounded perspective that benefits every patient he sees. He is also fluent in both English and Arabic, allowing our practice to serve the diverse Houston community with warmth and clear communication.
Advanced In-Office Diagnostic Technology
Accurate diagnosis is the foundation of effective treatment. At In Motion Foot & Ankle, we have invested in state-of-the-art in-office diagnostic capabilities so that your evaluation and treatment can begin in a single, efficient visit — without the delays of outside imaging referrals. Our technology includes:
Digital X-rays — Immediate, high-resolution bony imaging with up to 70% less radiation than traditional film systems. We use these to evaluate fractures, arthritis, structural deformities, and heel spurs during your visit.
Diagnostic ultrasound — Real-time, radiation-free soft tissue imaging for tendons, ligaments, plantar fascia, and nerve structures. Allows us to diagnose conditions like plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinopathy, and neuromas with precision — and to guide injections to the exact target site.
Together, these tools give our team a complete picture of both your bony and soft tissue anatomy, enabling accurate, confident diagnosis and treatment planning at your very first appointment.
Comprehensive Services Under One Roof
One of the most significant advantages of choosing In Motion Foot & Ankle is the breadth of services available in a single, convenient location. You won’t need to travel to multiple providers or wait weeks for specialist referrals. From conservative and preventive care to advanced procedures and surgical intervention, we offer it all:
Custom orthotics fabricated for your specific foot mechanics — therapeutic laser therapy for pain and inflammation — Palomar Icon YAG Laser Therapy for toenail fungus and warts — peripheral nerve stimulation for chronic nerve pain — advanced wound care for diabetic ulcers — vascular testing for circulation assessment — sports medicine for athletes — and surgical correction when conservative options are exhausted. We also provide specialized care for diabetic patients, children, and older adults.
Personalized Treatment Plans — Not One-Size-Fits-All Medicine
Every patient who walks through our doors has a unique set of circumstances — their own foot structure, medical history, lifestyle demands, and goals. At In Motion Foot & Ankle, we never apply a generic protocol and call it a treatment plan. Instead, we take the time to understand the complete picture of your health and design a care pathway built specifically for you. Whether you’re a competitive athlete who needs to return to training quickly or a diabetic patient who needs meticulous, ongoing foot monitoring, your plan will reflect your individual needs.
We also believe in honest, clear communication. Our team explains diagnoses, treatment options, and expected outcomes in plain language — making sure you understand your condition and feel confident in your care decisions every step of the way.

At In Motion Foot & Ankle, we treat patients from across the age and activity spectrum.
